Put down your phone and get outside, because Mons Royale has all the wanderlust inspiration you'll ever need. Follow our ambassadors on their summer adventures around the world and start filling your travel wishlist. From the high alpine of Nepal to the canyon lows of Utah, Mons ambassadors know where adventure thrives - and they brought their merino along for the ride.
Camping, mountain biking, paddle-boarding, hiking and cliff-jumping. The Mons crew of ambassadors in Lower Mainland BC got it all done during a two-day stretch in the adventure capital of Canada, Squamish in mid-July. To find these waterfalls, you have to put in some effort. This involves crossing the Squamish River and hiking up 1000 metres of vertical in less than 2km along Monmouth Creek towards Echo Lake. Godspeed adventurers.
What's better than a multi-sport day? How about a multi-sport day where you bike to find the snow. That's what Mons ambassador Tonje Kvivik had in mind for this adventure in Revelstoke, BC. This adventure is do-able pretty much anywhere that still has a visible snowline. Plus, you can't beat views like this.
Everest was a hot topic this year and undoubtedly it's an excursion that tops many bucket lists. But let's not forget about the rest of beautiful Nepal. It's as picturesque as ever and is the home of true authentic mountain culture.
Any true mountain biking fan has a Crankworx Festival on their bucket list and we're willing to bet that the crown jewel for most is probably Whistler. But don't let the flagship festival distract you from it's baby brother; Innsbruck. Mons ambassador Birgit Ertl isn't one to keep off the trails and got amongst the two-wheeled thrashing during the event in June.
If you have a sudden urge to start belting "The Hills Are Alive", then we're with you. Tina Gerber looks like she's hiking in a dream in Switzerland. After taking a small farmer's gondola, this location is just a short hike into the Engelberg Valley and overlooks Mount Titlis. For Tina, high altitude hikes are perfect to escape the heat of the valley, while also scoping lines for the coming winter.
