But this time around, we stepped up the art of disruption. Edgy, yet refined. Unabashed, yet technical. Fall Winter '19 shatters any preconceived notions you had about merino. Stoke doesn’t cover it; this calls for celebration.
In just a few days' time, we'll launch our tenth range and we couldn't be more stoked for you to get your hands on it. But we're going to drag out the tease a little longer with this sneak peek at the range photoshoots.
Asset Factory in Auckland, NZ
Every year, a few key members of our team make the journey from our homebase in Wanaka to Asset Factory studio in Auckland. Once there, the steaming, styling and photo-taking begins. All of Mons' ghost, product and campaign shoots happen simultaneously under one roof - so there's a lot happening at once.
This year we were joined by models Ben Michefski and Steph Cherry. We also had a cameo appearance from Cooper, who is a resident of Asset Factory.
With First Tracks Wanaka in Wanaka, NZ
We flew a team of eight Mons crew members to the alps at the top of Lake Hawea to shoot these images. The team was well looked after by First Tracks Wanaka and guide Guy Cotter. They spent the night in a geodesic dome and woke up bright and early the next morning to get some banger powder shots. We can't give you a sneak peek of these images yet, but believe it when we say we've been dying to show you for months!
This shoot was particularly special, because it officially marked ten years of Mons. The team was lucky enough to score insanely perfect weather, where they were able to capture Lake Wanaka and our home mountains in all their glory. This was one for the books.
Cheers to Mons Royale's tenth range.
We had a blast creating our tenth range and we can't wait for you to try it out. We're looking forward to showing you new pieces, the latest innovations and edgy colors, patterns and graphics. Ten years of revolutionizing the merino market has culminated in this range and we couldn't be more proud of where Mons is today.
Cheers to ten years everyone. See you on the other side of the launch.
