Crankworx Rotorua came with perfect weather for the Mons Royale Speed & Style this year and the event didn’t disappoint. Last years reigning champion, Martin Soederstrom, was back to retain his title, but lost in his quarter final against Kyle Strait. Jill Kintner beat off the irrepressible Casey Brown for the ladies win, the 1st time this event has featured female competitors. In the end, speed trumped style, as Slavik beat Strait who narrowly missed out on the top step with his double tail whip over the last feature.
